Everyone who’s ever held a freshly-made, ice-cold cream DQ Blizzard Treat wants to flip it. It’s one of the irrefutable laws of the universe. But, not everyone is trained in the secret arts of Blizzard-flipping. With that in mind, these Dairy Queen Snapchat ads make use of your smartphone's secret weapon – the accelerometer – to let anyone flip their phone to reveal a frosty, delicious treat. And to make it event better, there was an added twist – these ads were the first place fans could see the next Blizzard of the Month flavor revealed.
The ads were almost as popular as Blizzard Treats – outpacing Snapchat’s average swipe rate by 185%.
